Karen joined the BIST team in the summer of 2019. Karen earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of Central Missouri. Prior to joining the BIST team, Karen worked as a Behavioral Interventionist within the Lee’s Summit R7 School District. While working with the district, Karen helped create and implement the BIST Vision Team within her school. Not only was Karen a vital member of the Vision Team, she continued to support students and staff members as BIST continued to grow throughout the district.
